History - the past times

Morian was founded on the end of May 2002. SamiPu and Tepu found each other on the internet (http://www.muusikoiden.net/wanted/). SamiPu had a few songs and wanted to have a band to play them.

Sami's old time friend, Jarno, was asked to play bass and he gladly agreed. And Jarno, knew another guitarist, Saku. At this time they had booked studio Watercastle for three days and keyboard-player was still missing. Tepu asked his old-time friend, SamiPo if he could come into studio and play keys. And he agreed.

Oh yes, drummer was still missing. Tepu knew one very talented guy, , but he was not interested in joining the band. But he promised to come into studio and play drums. Morian recorded two songs called : Neverending moment and Your god.

After studio sessions, SamiPu asked if SamiPo would be interested to join the band officially. And he was.

A real drummer was still missing. SamiPo knew a guy, Mikko. They played together in ABBA Boom Band on summer :) Mikko also playes with Karmen and Sami liked his playing. So he asked if Mikko would like to join the band. And he did.
The timing was perfect. Morian had it's first gig on 3.8.2002 and Mikko was asked to join the band on 2.8.2002. Mikko took the duty without hesitation! :)
