Tepu W - vocals

As far as 4 years of age Tepu has been involved with music: he sang in a child choir for sometime. He had a lot of interest to music and even as a child he was listening to Tsaikovsky and other Russian composers, because his father had some of these classical albums. Classic 50´s rock was something great for 10 years old boy who didn´t for some reason even know that in a year he was about to practice guitar playing, and to had serious ambitions to be famous some day.

One day Tepu watched a local TV-music show and there was man with big black guitar, black sunglasses and an unbelievable voice. The song was "You got it" and the artist was Roy Orbison.

Tepu stared this man and the guitar and went right away to his parents and asked for money to buy a guitar. This one man and one song changed Tepu´s life. It didn_t take more than a couple of days until he went to guitar shop with his parents and got his first acoustic guitar. Later, he started taking guitar lessons and for two years he studied some basics and classical style playing.

First electric guitar he got at the age of 12. With his own money he bought his first axe. It was a Fender style Vestern. At the same time in the neighborhood some other boys - including Mike - started their musical hobbies. During the school several bands were formed and songs made.

Until the year of 1996 many bands and line-ups were made. Here are some of these: Black Bones, Prisoners, Last Change, Mind Product and so on. 1996 made the change: just a few weeks after quitting Mind Product Tepu asked Mike to form a band with him. Long time friends had not played together for two years and somehow they found each other again.

Later, other old time friend joined to play bass and Mike's cousin to play keyboards. Decoy was formed and musically they made something between Rush and Iron maiden. During this period Tepu spent lots of time improving his technique. All these years he mainly concentrated to make music and lyrics, but now was the time to reach a new level on guitar playing. He noticed that his technique wasn't the best and better late than never he took serious lessons on guitar playing. At the same time Clarity was formed to the basis of Decoy after the change of keyboard and bass players. Musically Clarity took huge leap to more progressive metal and Tepu felt that this was the sound that he had searched for many years.

Tepu started to take guitar lessons again, mainly to study guitar theory and, of course, some hard licks to improve his technique.
